In 2017, Myanmar’s army committed a brutal genocide, causing three-quarters of the Rohingya Muslim population to flee their homes. Five years later, over a million of these refugees – mainly women and children – still reside in poverty-stricken conditions in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.

Since that traumatic period in 2017, MSI has provided rehabilitation services to thousands of these marginalized Muslims in Bangladesh. In 2021, we continued to assist even more individuals through various relief initiatives. At present, we are actively executing several projects within the makeshift camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
